How does the Raizer chair work?
The Raizer is made up of seven large parts: four legs, two backrest pieces and the seat, which holds the mechanism.
When responding to lift elderly or disabled people after a fall, we simply slide the seat under the fallen person’s knees, click the backrest pieces and legs in place and use the remote control to gently raise the chair. This in turn lifts the person into a safe seated chair, which will then enable them to stand up safely once in an upright position.
Both the movement and seated position are dignified and can be operated in any location or floor surface.
